Katherine's Review on The Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2012

As we all know the yearly Victoria Secret Fashion aired this past Tuesday, December 4^th, 2012 on CBS. We anxiously wait for this show to air after having to see the photos hit the net, prior to its televised airing .Although the show makes me want to hit the gym five times a days after watching the models strut those amazing bodies down the runway, its still one of my favorite shows to watch every year. The show was filled with glitz, glam and of course featured some amazing performances by the fashionista herself, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars. 


The show could not be complete without the signature Fantasy Bra that Victoria Secret unveils each year during the event. This year, model Alessandra Ambrosio,  was given the opportunity to model the $2.5million dollar Fantasy Bra. (pictured above). The Fantasy Bra this year featured a floral pattern made up of over 5,000 amethysts, sapphires, rubies, and diamonds. The bra also features a removable 20-carat diamond which is placed hanging in the center of the bra. Can we say that’s crazy? I mean who wouldn’t want to wear this bra? I could pay my whole 4 years of college tuition with that bra and still have some money left over for a lifetime. I could just imagine how Ambrosio felt wearing this bra down the runaway. “Like a million bucks” LITERALLY!

My favorite segment of the show would have to be the one titled “Silver Screen Angels”. The segment featured a heartwarming performance by Bruno Mars who performed his song “Young Girls”. I instantly became a fan of this song right off the bat and downloaded it as soon as the show was over. The models looked so graceful and peaceful as they walked down the runaway with this song in the background. I feel as if Bruno Mars is one of those artists that goes highly unrecognized and deserves much more credit than what he is given. In my opinion, fashion and music should go hand in hand, especially during a fashion show. The music helps to set off whatever theme the fashion show is trying to posses and I feel like this song did just that. Kudos to you Bruno Mars.

I will be starting one of FullCircle4's segment called "Favorite Blogger/Channel of the month. In this segment, I will write about my favorite blogger or youtube channeler I have currently become of obsessed with and can't get enough of.

So for the month of NOVEMBER my pick is "TheFashionCitizen."

Steph and Mel are two twin bloggers from Arizona who love to shop for less. These two fashionista twins post videos on youtube of there shopping experiences at thrift stores and their looks for less. I enjoy watching these these two because they are showing their viewers how you can look good by spending less. Expensive brand names shouldn't define style or you, well thats what I believe.  They always give me so many ideas whenever I go thrifting. I feel good about shopping for less and I always know when I thrift I could always find that trendy item for less, which is a bonus. Secondly, they do lots of giveaways with clothing that was given to them by companies who are trying to build a rep for there business. Thirdly, they are always posting videos on youtube and they are never boring!!! I watch every minute of these girls, I swear!  Plus, I am a small girl myself so it is helpful to see how these girls style there clothes as well because not all these clothes out here in the retail stores fit smalls girls like us!
